1. Seattle Seahawks (2-0)
Unbeaten and reigning champs.
Last season's Super Bowl champs currently boast a +27 point differential after the first two weeks.
Even without franchise quarterback Sam Darnold, Seattle has seemingly picked up right where they left off. This past weekend, they extended their win streak to 12 games and have not lost a game since Nov. 16, 2025.
The defense has allowed 17 points over two games and ranks second in the league in yards allowed, only surrendering 214 yards per game. They were ranked sixth among all teams last season in the regular season.
Drew Lock, the current starter as Darnold recovers from a glute injury, is filling the role of QB1 very nicely. It definitely helps getting to feed the 2025 Offensive Player of the Year, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who currently leads the league in yards and touchdowns.
The Seahawks aren't going anywhere as they are in pursuit to build a dynasty under head coach Mike Macdonald in Seattle.
2. Buffalo Bills (2-0)
The Bills defense has not looked great so far, but their offense looks virtually unstoppable.
With Josh Allen in his prime, he has never looked better. No matter what defense he faces, he puts points on the board. Buffalo’s franchise QB will be the deciding factor in how far this team can go.
The defense will improve as the year goes on because of the talent they have on that side of the ball. The time is now for Buffalo, and once all three phases are clicking, they will be a team no one wants to face.
3. Kansas City Chiefs (2-0)
The addition of Kenneth Walker III adds an element to the Chiefs offense that they have quite frankly have never had in the Patrick Mahomes era.
With two Super Bowl MVPs in the backfield, defenses are left in an absolute frenzy trying to figure out who will have the ball in their hands.
After two weeks, the Chiefs offense is currently number one in the league in yards per game at 457.5. Maybe the biggest key in all of that is how Patrick Mahomes has played, especially pushing the ball downfield, seemingly playing as if the ACL tear that occurred last season, never happened.
The Chiefs are a team to keep an eye on as the season ramps up.
4. San Francisco 49ers (2-0)
The 49ers have a dominating win against a projected Super Bowl favorite and a convincing win against a team projected to be at the bottom of the standings. San Francisco has shown they are legit contenders in the NFC after only two weeks of play.
One of the best offensive minds in football paired with a $265 million quarterback in his fourth year in the system is a lethal combination. Kyle Shanahan and Brock Purdy have looked like they are on the same wavelength every possession so far this season.
Fred Warner has come back from a season ending injury and he looks like he hasn't missed a beat.
Health is an ongoing issue with this team, but if they can keep their core healthy, then they could make a run at a division title in what is arguably the best division in the league.
5. Los Angeles Rams (1-1)
With the roster that they have, it is hard to even put them this low in the rankings. The loss in Week 1 to the 49ers is what has them at No. 5.
It’s still hard to gauge how good this team can actually be because of the injuries to their star players. Myles Garrett and Aaron Donald will not share the field together until Week 5 at the earliest.
A statement win over the injury riddled Giants is what has them in the top five. Matthew Stafford looked like the MVP that we saw last season, and on Monday night, 195 of his 327 passing yards went to Davante Adams, which included two touchdowns as well.
With the best roster in the NFL and a coach who has put it all together before, the Rams are a team that may look unbeatable at their best.
