After two weeks on the road, Indiana returned to Andy Mohr Field on Wednesday night and showed out in dominant fashion. The Hoosiers run-ruled Ball State 14-1 in five innings to close out their non-conference schedule 22-5 and improve their overall record to 30-13.

Indiana softball was able to take game one in a short two-game weekend series against No. 18 Nebraska, but inconsistencies in fielding and pitching caused the Hoosiers to drop game two 12-4 in five innings. With the loss, Indiana’s record drops to 29-13 overall and 8-8 in the Big Ten.

Indiana women’s basketball received its sixth straight at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament on Sunday. The Hoosiers are a No. 9 seed in the Columbia, South Carolina Subregional and will play the No. 8 seed Utah Utes at 1:30 p.m. EST Friday on ESPN2.

The victory pushed Indiana into the second weekend of the tournament, which marks its third Sweet Sixteen appearance in five years.
