Two Days In April: Camaraderie (Season 1 Episode 2)

Welcome to Two Days In April - a docuseries about the Little 500. Two Days In April brings you behind the scenes of the Little 500, the largest intramural bicycle race in America and the centerpiece of the World's Greatest College Weekend. Throughout this series, we will bring you up close and personal with the riders, coaches, staff, fans, and alumni that help to make the Little 500 so important and relevant to Indiana University and the Bloomington community. Episode 2, titled "Camaraderie", explores the social bonds that tie together Little 500 riders. What makes the Little 500 experience so special that a person is willing to devote hundreds of hours to it? Often times, it comes down to a shared feeling of support, trust, love, and togetherness. From acclimating to the rigors of track riding and qualifications to the team travel events that can take a rider hundreds or thousands of miles away, it is the support of friends and the larger community that makes the environment a special one. Two Days In April is made possible thanks to the generous support of Tom and Kathy Miller, as well as the IU Media School. Two Days in April Season 3 Episode 10: Team Pursuit

2 Days in April | Season 3, Episode 10  Team Pursuit is Little 500 cycling at its most synchronized—and most unforgiving. Two four-rider teams start on opposite sides of Bill Armstrong Stadium and race 15 laps, chasing both the clock and each other. Riders rotate through the lead, using tight formations and precise pacing to save energy while maintaining maximum speed. The team’s final time is recorded when its third rider crosses the line, so success depends on staying together—not simply having one superstar. It’s a test of fitness, strategy, communication, and trust, where one mistimed pull can change everything. Fast, tactical, and dramatic, Team Pursuit is teamwork on two wheels. Two Days In April Season 3 Episode 9: Miss N Out

2 Days in April | Season 3, Episode 9  Miss N Out is Little 500 cycling with nowhere to hide. Riders battle wheel-to-wheel around Bill Armstrong Stadium, knowing the last cyclist across the line on each elimination lap is DONE. One mistake, one bad position, one moment of hesitation—and your day is over. The field gets smaller, the pace gets faster, and the tension rises with every bell. Survive long enough, and it all comes down to a full-gas final sprint for the podium. Equal parts speed, strategy, nerve, and controlled chaos, Miss N Out is one of the most thrilling events of the Little 500 Spring Series.
