NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Bracketology: Colin McMahon’s bracket projections (Feb. 29)

The bubble is becoming less crowded

Another eventful week is in the books, which means more movement in the projected bracket! In the past week, we’ve seen several bubble teams lose, but others win big games. Some games have even featured two bubble teams, making them ultra-important in terms of the last few teams in.

One team that has risen recently has been Washington State with their recent win over Arizona, while Wisconsin continues to fall after losing to Indiana. As for the bubble, it’s becoming less and less crowded as more teams seem to be safe, while others drop out of contention completely. Texas A&M, Utah and Cincinnati are some teams that were previously in the field, but have dropped far off because of losses recently. These teams may have dropped out, but there are some new teams to the field as well in this latest edition of my bracket projection!
